Magnetic Float Sensor FR(reed switch)

Features

Insensitive to process conditions such as pressure, temperature and specific gravity

Unlike other technologies, FR provides a reliable measurement without being affected by temperature, pressure, specific gravity, capacitance, or conductivity.

A wide range of wetted parts and designs available

FR is available in a variety of materials and designs for almost any application. In addition to standard materials, 316SS, PE, fluororesin, titanium and other materials are available upon request.

High reliability and safety

Among the high precision switch switches, only those that meet our original standards are used to ensure stable operation over a long service life.

Easy on-site service

The setting points and transition directions can easily be adjusted on the scene. (Except for flameproof or high temperature models)

NK (Nippon Kaiji Kyokai) certified (07A008) class

It can be used to measure fuel, oil and other liquids outside the deck, bridge and cargo tanks. (Except flame proof type)

Magnetic Float Sensor FR(reed switch)

Principle of Operation

The sensor uses a magnet and a reed switch to detect fluid presence. The contacts of the reed switch are placed in an inert gas glass tube and work with an applied magnetic field.

The figure shows the buoy and the stalk. The float integrates a magnet and the body includes a switching switch at the set point. The reed switch opens or closes as the float goes up or down the body.
