These resistors have increased nominal and overload capabilities compared to the CCH / CAH series. They are mostly used in DC-links for charging and de-charging and in medium power inverter drives systems as brake resistor. CBR has cooling fins to optimize heat transfer to the ambient air. The nominal power ranges from 85-1700W, standard maximum working voltage is 690VAC/850VDC. 1000VAC/1400VDC types are available on request. The pulse load values depend on Ohmic value and range between 10 to 27 x Pnominal at a 5 seconds square load.
