CBW resistors consist of a aluminium housing with liquid cooling channels integrated. Inside is the active resistor wire which is incapsulated with sand. CBW resistors combine very high overload capability with liquid cooling. They are ideally suited as high power brake resistors with medium average power. CBW resistors are also used as filter resistors.
